## Materials, lifespan and safety

### Materials

Rotomoulded marine-grade UV-stabilised polyethylene, 5 to 7mm wall. [Float Pods](https://www.pontoonzboats.com/pods-and-pricing/#float-pod) in HMW HDPE with 0.3% UV stabiliser.

### Lifespan

15+ year product life. Pods from 2003 are still in service. Annual water blast is the only maintenance.

### Safety

Non-slip decking, handrails and ladders as specified, with capacity calculated from published load ratings per pod.
