Farming FAQs

Questions from farmers

How big a pump will it carry?

Each Main Boat Pod carries 150kg at half immersion. Tell us the pump and we'll size the platform; a 26-pod platform carries 6 tonnes.

Will it handle a dam that drops over summer?

Yes. The pontoon rises and falls with the water, so the intake stays at the same depth below the surface.

Do I need special tools?

No. Cut, drill and bolt. If you can build a deck, you can build a pontoon.
