Recreation FAQs

Questions from resorts, councils and owners

How many people will a swim raft hold?

Each Main Boat Pod carries 150kg at half immersion, so a 3.6 x 3m raft on six pods carries around 900kg including the deck. Use the calculator, then we check the configuration before quoting.

How is a swim raft or dive platform anchored?

Rafts are moored with a chain or rope to a mooring block or anchor, using the tie-off points moulded into the pods. The right mooring depends on depth, tide and exposure.

What safety features can be added?

Non-slip decking, handrails, ladders and capacity signage. Tell us who will use it and we'll recommend the layout.

Can councils buy through procurement?

Yes. We respond to RFPs and tenders on GETS and AusTender and supply capability statements on request.
